If you wish to explore Prague on a budget, keeping travel costs down without having to sacrifice accommodation quality, look no further than Maurizo’s two bed air bnb apartment.  Set in Prague 2, a short tram hop away, or 15 minute walk to all of the central action in the historic part of Prague, it made for a very  convenient base to explore the city.  Maurizio’s correspondence in the lead up to our trip were fluent and supportive, also providing a very informative and friendly welcome on arrival, showing us all the main sights to see, places to eat and transport hubs on the map of Prague he gave us.

The apartment itself was set in an attractive block on the fifth floor (with lift access) and was so quiet, every night we had a fantastic undisturbed sleep.  The 2 bedrooms were tastefully decorated, offering comfy beds (room one = 1 double, room two = 2 single beds) and lots of storage space.  The communal space was comfortable with couches and a TV, and linked through directly to the kitchen, which was equipped with all the necessary utensils for cooking if eating out isn’t your thing.  The bathroom was spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the apartment and we were really made to feel at home for our time there.

Due to us arriving in the evening on Boxing Day, when most shops were shut, we were recommended by Maurizio to try ‘Restaurant Einsteins’ which was on the same street, literally a 30 second walk away.  This place offers delicious Italian food at a very reasonable price and helped make our first night in Prague memorable and run smoothly.

We would definitely recommend staying at this accommodation if visiting Prague, thank you Maurizio for having us!
